Swift Skills Foundation youth vocational skills training workshop in South Africa
Case Study — Non-Profit & Social Impact

Swift Skills Foundation Impact Platform

How we built a standalone digital home for a South African youth employability foundation — connecting unemployed youth to accredited skills pathways while giving donors transparent, measurable impact.

Swift Skills Foundation youth skills development in Cape Town, South Africa, supporting vocational training, workplace readiness, artisan development and employment pathways.
The Client

A Foundation Built on Measurable Impact

Swift Skills Foundation is a registered NPO and NPC that connects unemployed young South Africans to practical skills pathways, QCTO-aligned learning routes, workplace readiness, and employer-linked opportunities.

Developed alongside the Swift Skills Academy ecosystem, the Foundation focuses on structured youth employability pathways, practical skills development, workplace readiness and donor-supported programmes. The digital platform was designed so verified programme outcomes, partnerships, governance information and funding opportunities can be presented clearly as the organisation grows.

The Challenges

What We Inherited

  • No dedicated digital presence for the Foundation — it was buried under the Academy brand
  • No structured donor journey — funders couldn't easily understand where their money went or what impact it created
  • No clear articulation of the theory of change — the pathway from unemployment to employment was not visualised
  • No learner stories or graduate outcome data displayed to build emotional and institutional trust
  • No governance or compliance transparency page for institutional funders and corporate CSI partners
  • No donation tiers or "sponsor a learner" functionality for individual and corporate giving
Our Solutions

What We Delivered

  • Full cinematic standalone brand for the Foundation — distinctly positioned around social impact, not commercial training
  • Structured donor funding tiers from R250 transport support to R12,500 full learner sponsorship, with clear outcome descriptions
  • Interactive 7-step Theory of Change visualisation — from youth unemployment through to community impact
  • Graduate story and outcome-reporting sections designed to present verified programme results when available
  • Dedicated governance and compliance section designed to support funder due diligence and organisational transparency
  • Programme catalogue with accreditation badges — Trades & Technical, Hospitality & Service, Business & Entrepreneurship
  • Institutional credibility section for verified accreditation, employer and funding-partner information
  • Fast-loading, mobile-first architecture optimised for South African network conditions and mobile-first donors
